Random people you see on the street. I notice them. I describe them. I document them. So, here they are, I hope it will be nice to meet them.

Understanding

I think she is about eighty years old. She walks to a park bench and sits down. She takes a book out of her purse and starts to read. She is wearing a grey dress, her hair is up in a bun. After a while two guys sit down next to her. They are holding hands. They talk to each other quietly. She looks up from her book and stares. One of the guys notices it and looks back. “Oh, I am sorry,” she says. “I didn’t mean to stare. It’s just that the two of you remind me of me and my husband. We used to sit on this bench with that same look on our faces as you two have right now. Love.” All three of them smile. Thanks for understanding that love is love. Stranger, you give me hope.
