Envy

I have never seen someone who looks so at home in this world as he does. He is sitting on a park bench and he smiles. He looks so calm, so collected, so put together, so… Happy. It’s hard to come by, somebody who doesn’t just feels happy, but is happy. I envy him and I am not alone. He doesn’t look interesting, his clothes are normal, his face is plain, he doesn’t look noticeable, but people do notice him and look. They look at him as if they, just by looking at him, can figure out what it is that makes him as happy as he is. They can’t figure it out and neither can I. I walk away feeling hope, happiness is out there. You give me hope, stranger.
